European National Archives: CIA/MI6 Liaison Command Documentation

This dossier investigates the availability of declassified command-chain documentation between European national intelligence services (specifically Italian SISMI, French DGSE, and Belgian SDRA8) and their CIA/MI6 liaison officers. The existence of clandestine 'stay-behind' networks, often referred to as 'Gladio' networks, across Western Europe during the Cold War is widely acknowledged, with operations involving collaboration between national intelligence agencies and external partners like the CIA and MI6. Academic sources, such as Daniele Ganser's work, suggest extensive inter-agency cooperation (https://files.libcom.org/files/NATOs_secret_armies.pdf). However, the precise command structures, operational directives, and the extent of foreign influence on these national intelligence services remain subjects of ongoing historical and journalistic inquiry, with specific documentation often remaining classified or difficult to access in national archives. The British National Archives acknowledge the sensitive nature of intelligence records, noting that many files have been destroyed or retained due to their content (https://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/help-with-your-research/research-guides/intelligence-and-security-services/).

The strongest case for the existence of comprehensive declassified command-chain documentation would argue that, given the parliamentary inquiries and public admissions regarding 'stay-behind' networks, especially in Italy with the Andreotti admission, significant portions of operational directives and liaison arrangements must have been declassified and deposited in national archives. Researchers like Daniele Ganser have pieced together substantial narratives, implying that sufficient primary source material, even if fragmented, exists to reconstruct command structures. European archives, such as the Historical Archives of the European Union and national institutions, are increasingly making historical documents accessible (https://www.eui.eu/en/academic-units/historical-archives-of-the-european-union).

The strongest counter-argument is that intelligence services inherently prioritize secrecy and deniability. Even with declassification efforts, documents detailing sensitive command chains, especially those involving foreign intelligence liaisons, are likely to be heavily redacted, destroyed, or permanently withheld under national security exemptions, as indicated by the British National Archives (https://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/help-with-your-research/research-guides/intelligence-and-security-services/). The clandestine nature of 'stay-behind' operations, and the political sensitivities surrounding foreign influence, would suggest that comprehensive, unredacted command-chain documentation may simply not exist in publicly accessible archives, making it unverifiable.

I'm going to guess that you didn't put either of the chain command blocks on always active. This is because the lever at the bottom activated the repeating command block and, in turn, also activated the second to bottom command block due to chained power with redstone.

Does the 63 command block rule only apply if the command blocks are in the same chunk? If I put for example 40 command blocks in a ticking area, and 24 in a different chunk, will that count as going over the 63 command block limit when that chunk is being loaded?
